Dui Offenses

The nature of DUI (driving under the influence) offenses are dependent on a number of factors. The first among these is the severity of the DUI incident, the second would be the number of prior DUI convictions a driver has, the third factor would be what the driver's blood alcohol content was, and the final factor would be whether any other crimes were committed while the driver was intoxicated. If a driver has been involved in a crash or caused injuries or even fatalities, then the DUI offense is much more serious. If a driver has a history of DUI charges, the driver also faces more severe penalties, while first time minor offenders are more likely to receive lesser penalties. The BAC of a driver can also determine what the DUI offense is categorized as, as drivers who 'blow' closer to the limit face far less penalties than those who 'blows' well above the limit. Finally, if a driver commits other crimes, from speeding to having a minor in the vehicle and so on, then the DUI offense becomes much more severe.
