How do you go about filling out the form and obtaining SR22 Insurance for a DUI Conviction?
I got a DUI a little while ago and I am now eligible to get my license back but I have to get a restricted license. I think I was told hat I had to have a dui sr22 form but I’m not sure exactly what that means or where to get it?

Under the law in certain states, an SR-22 form is a special DMV form required. When anyone goes to get his or her license renewed, that person has to show proof of insurance. However, if you have received a DUI or DWI charge, you may need to use a special SR-22 form to show proof of insurance. This form is only for people who have been convicted on drunk driving charges or who have had their license suspended for other reasons related to criminal charges.
The purpose is to ensure that your insurance company is aware of your DUI charge. If you have any questions about obtaining an SR-22 form or about the rules associated with a restricted license, you should consult with an experienced DUI attorney to ensure you comply with all relevant state laws for getting your license.
