Possible DUI Still Under Investigation
Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 5900 Fuqua.
The victim, Jesse J. Caldera Jr., 28, of Pasadena, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant P. Casares and Officer R. Davidson reported:
According to witnesses, Mr. Caldera was operating an off-road, four-wheeled ATV at an unsafe speed while traveling eastbound on Fuqua. At the intersection of Fuqua and South Wayside, he lost control of the vehicle, crashing through a wooden barricade and continued on into a wooded area where he struck a ditch. No other vehicles were involved and there were no other injuries. Alcohol may have been a factor.
Thee investigation is continuing.
