• Denial of work restricted use of driver's license

A third offense in a 10 year period will result in the following penalties:

• Fines up to $1000
• Minimum 30 days in jail, up to 4 years
• Driver's license suspended for 4 years
• No restricted use of license allowed
• Misdemeanor charge
  

Maine DUI Laws for 4th Violation

A fourth violation escalates the circumstances even farther.

• Fines of $2100
• Minimum of 6 months in Jail, up to 6 years
• Drivers license revocation for 6 years
• Denied work restricted driver's license
• You will be unable to register a vehicle in the state.
• Misdemeanor charge
