A 41-year-old woman from North Platte, Nebraska is now facing multiple charges after her arrest for drunk driving. She was pulled over on Thursday after her vehicle was spotted going 80 miles per hour near a park.

She resisted arrest, struggled with officers at the police station and eventually had to be restrained. She even managed to slip out of her handcuffs and bite one of her arresting officers on the arm during the tussle.

The woman is facing charges of drunk driving, reckless driving, hit and run and aggravated assault on an officer. The final charge could result in a felony, which could mean prison time and a mark on the woman’s permanent record.

Those who are arrested after being pulled over for driving under the influence are warned to cooperate with the arresting officers and to stay calm, to avoid any further charges.
