Getting Help With a DUI

If you plan to fight your DUI, you'll need help from an experienced DUI attorney.  There are some things you can do yourself, without an attorney.  For example you can go to your arraignment, plead not guilty, and get your police report.  But if you decide that your case is worth fighting, or if you hope to plea bargain with the procecution to reduce or dismiss your charge, you'll benefit immeasurabley from a DUI lawyer's experience with the procedures and personalities at the court.

Even if you do hire an attorney, you can help yourself by learning everything you can about DUI law.  That way, you won't have to pay the attorney to his or her hourly fee to explain the law to you.
